Living in the moment

The four-year-old boy looks up from his bowl of cereal and declares:
“I love being four.”
He lifts spoon to mouth, and goes back to work.

I get the same feeling when I happen upon some cocoa krispies, fruit loops, or other treasured childhood breakfasts. Sadly, then I too must go back to work… Ah, to be four again!

What a gem. I hope that young man will reach fourscore and at least seven more. As you know I hit fourscore and two. Oh, to be two score again.
